Today, we celebrate World Oceans Day. A UN certified movement that began at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 1992. To say that the Ocean, or Oceans, are incredibly important to our livelihood is a humungous understatement. We’re privileged to live in absolute paradise, surrounded by water, and we know how lucky we are to call this island our home.

"A healthy world ocean is critical to our survival. Every year, World Oceans Day provides a unique opportunity to honor, help protect, and conserve our world’s shared ocean."

But we also witness first-hand the devastation caused by plastic pollution in our oceans. That’s why we support World Oceans Day push to prevent further plastic pollution by encouraging innovative solutions for a healthier ocean.

You can donate, or get involved in the movement yourself at home. For more information, visit worldoceansday.org.
