Escape from the world, at least for a little bit

The appropriately named Escape Beach is one of Hamilton Island’s hidden gems. But what makes this little beach so desirable for those who escape there?

It’s simple really; seclusion.

Located towards the south east of the Island, this scenic wonder is a 4km (55 minutes) walk from our apartments. Making the trek one of the longest you’ll face on the island.

And therein lies its appeal.

An hour walk, just to relax on a beach, isn’t everyone’s cup of tea – especially when most people on Hamilton Island are surrounded by beautiful beaches all day anyway. Meaning when you set off to Escape Beach, you’ll most likely have the whole cove (and its amazing crystal-clear water) to yourself.

Pretty spectacular.
