The Best Eats at Hamilton series will showcase our favourite dining experiences here on the island. To start the series, we decided to feature a place you can’t leave Hamilton Island without visiting.

Perfectly positioned overlooking Catseye Beach in a beautiful nautical timber building, Coca Chu has a spacious yet intimate feel, ideal for a relaxed, romantic dinner.

Executive Chef Adam Woodfield creates a beautiful selection of Asian dishes inspired by South East Asia’s unique food stall culture.

A fusion of southeast Asian flavours and fresh local produce, Coca Chu offers a variety of wonderfully options for everyone.

Infuse your senses with five spiced quail with house made sriracha, or opt for a classic curry with an island twist and try the green curry with tiger prawns. For an interactive eating experience, choose the make your own rice paper rolls.

You’re on holiday so dessert is a must. Save room for the sticky rice, or sample the chef’s selection and order the dessert sample plate.

Coca Chu is located at the resort centre at Catseye Beach and is open 7 days a week from 5:30pm. Bookings are recommended.
