Sail & Snorkel – Whitehaven & Chalkies Beach – "On the Edge"

A full day sailing visiting Whitehaven Beach and then onto Chalkies Beach for snorkelling. Includes a healthy buffet style lunch. Morning and Afternoon Tea also provided.

Explore Hill Inlet – Half Day

Take a short 40 minute cruise to Hill Inlet, situated at the northern end of Whitehaven Beach. Includes a 20 minute guided walk up to the lookout and spend up to 2 hours on the beach. Morning or Afternoon Tea provided depending on the time of the cruise.

Sunset Sail Whitsunday Islands

A truly relaxing way to view the sunset and surrounding Islands on the purpose built catamaran, On The Edge. Enjoy complimentary drinks and light nibbles while listening to the fascinating commentary about the Whitsunday Islands.

BBQ Dinner Cruise

Relax and unwind as you cruise through the Whitsunday Islands to a secluded bay. While at anchor, you'll enjoy a delicious BBQ buffet dinner while watching a magically Whitsundays sunset.

Hamilton Island Wildlife Café

Centrally located on the resort side of the island, Hamilton Island Wildlife Cafe is the perfect place for you to get up close and personal with some of Australia's unique wildlife, including koalas, kangaroos, birds and resident crocodiles. There is also a range of marsupials, creepy crawlies, snakes and lizards native to the island.

Daily Schedule

Opening Hours: 8.00am - 4pm daily
Unlimited Wildlife Park entry which includes 2 guided tours at 10.00am and 3.00pm daily.

Encounters

• 9.30am -10.00am Koala Encounter
• 10.30am-11.00am Reptile Encounter
• 11.00am - 11.30am Dingo Encounter (minimum age 6 years)

VIP Experiences

• 11.30am - 12.00pm VIP Dingo Experience (4 guests per session, four photos per paying guest. 6-14 years must be accompanied by a paying guardian)
• 12.00pm - 12.30pm VIP Koala Experience (4 guests per session, four photos per paying guest. 6-14 years must be accompanied by a paying guardian)
• 12.30pm - 1.00pm VIP Reptile Experience (4 guests per session, four photos per paying guest. 6-14 years must be accompanied by a paying guardian)

Please note the Animal Encounter photos can only be collected from 3.00pm at the front counter.

Hamilton Island Wildlife Park does not offer holding of the Koalas in any experience.
